Golden Waffle Launches “Just Add Water” Mix, Aims to Transform Hospitality Kitchens

Golden Waffle Group Ltd has introduced a new Just Add Water waffle mix designed to dramatically improve operational efficiency in professional kitchens. The UK-developed product, packaged in 7.5-litre commercial tubs, allows chefs to prepare batter simply by adding water — eliminating scales, messy bowls, and lengthy prep work while ensuring consistent results.

According to the company, the new waffle mix can cut preparation and cleaning time by up to 70%, helping fast-paced restaurants, hotels, cafés, and quick-service establishments manage labour pressures and staffing challenges more effectively. The streamlined process also promises uniform quality, even with less experienced staff.

Founder Keith Wareing highlighted the mix’s potential to reshape how waffles are produced at scale within hospitality settings, noting that simplicity and consistency are key advantages amid rising operational demands.

The launch underscores an industry trend toward solutions that reduce kitchen complexity and boost productivity, addressing persistent issues like labour shortages and increasing service expectations across foodservice venues.
