Nutraland USA Announces Expanded Vegan.org Certification as Clinical Research Advances

Nutraland USA, Inc., a supplier of plant-based, science-backed nutritional ingredients, announced the expansion of its portfolio of Vegan.org (Vegan Action)-certified ingredients alongside the initiation of new randomized controlled clinical trials supporting key branded extracts in its line.

The newly certified ingredients include Somato® Tomato Extract Powder and Miricell™ Rice Germ Extract, both of which are among the company’s most actively researched branded ingredients. Somato® is standardized to naturally occurring phytomelatonin for sleep and mood-related applications, while Miricell™ is standardized to polyamines like spermidine, used in formulations targeting healthy aging and cellular health.

These ingredients are set to enter randomized controlled trials (RCTs) designed to further evaluate safety, tolerability and functional health outcomes in human subjects, with enrollment expected to begin shortly after the start of the new year. The expanded certifications build on Nutraland’s existing scientific efforts and reflect its continued investment in ingredient-level research. In addition to Somato® and Miricell™, Nutraland’s Vegan.org Enterprise-certified portfolio also now includes NutraFolate™ Calcium Folinate Pentahydrate, NutraFolate™ Calcium L-5-Methyl-Tetrahydrofolate, and Vegadelight® Organic Vegan Vitamin D3 Powder, broadening options for plant-based formulations.

Vegan.org certification verifies that products contain no animal-derived ingredients and are not tested on animals, providing transparent assurance for formulators and consumers seeking verified vegan nutritional ingredients.
