STELLA Refreshes Brand Identity and Launches New Organic Snack Bars

Swiss chocolate manufacturer Stella Bernrain has introduced a refreshed brand identity for its consumer brand STELLA, alongside the launch of three new organic snack bars. The move marks a strategic investment aimed at strengthening the company’s branded business, complementing its long-established private label operations.
For decades, Stella Bernrain has focused on the development and production of premium chocolate specialties for business customers worldwide. With the updated positioning under the claim “Swiss Chocolate with Character,” STELLA presents a more modern and youthful image while maintaining its core values of quality, innovation, and sustainability. The brand continues to emphasize premium Swiss chocolate made from responsibly sourced ingredients.
Three New Snack Bar Varieties
Since October, STELLA has expanded its portfolio with three 33g organic and Fairtrade-certified snack bars, designed for on-the-go consumption:
-
Milk & Pretzel: Milk chocolate combined with crunchy salted pretzels
-
Coco & Cashew: Coconut paired with cashews for a balanced, exotic flavour
-
Berry Crunch: Fruity berries with a crisp texture
The new bars are packaged in paper-based, sustainable packaging and feature an updated visual design aligned with the brand’s refreshed identity.
Market Availability and Brand Strategy
The product launch is supported by targeted marketing activities. From October, the snack bars are available in Swiss organic food retailers as well as through STELLA’s own sales channels.
According to Robin Auer, Head of Marketing, the updated brand strategy reflects changing consumer expectations. “Consumers today are looking for more than just taste. They want products that combine enjoyment, responsibility, and innovation,” Auer said. “With STELLA, we aim to deliver Swiss chocolate with character.”
With its renewed brand identity and expanded product range, STELLA aims to further differentiate itself within the premium chocolate and snack segment.
